The Allied Healthcare Dilemma!

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

Im about to raise the question about wether Chiropractors and Physiotherapists can actually work along side one another.

From my experience in the City of Sydney,Australia and the City of Athens,Greece there seems to be an antagonistic relationship. Both practitioners argue that they are able to offer the best care for the patient and only is the patient gets dramatic results is the patient convinced that the treating practitioner is right for them.

However what the consumers should realise is that in situations where the condition does not see significant improvement in 5-6 treatments then a cross-referal should co-exist.

It is usually the case that opposing practitioners are able to offer techniques and advice potentially foreign to other practitioners.

At SportsLab Double Bay we carefully integrate Physiotherapy,Chiropractic,Massage Therapy,Dietetics,Nutrition,Podiatry and Pilates to yield the best possible result for the patient all under one roof!
